Metronidazole has a narrow spectrum of antimicrobial activity:

  • – Anaerobic gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms (Bacteroides, Clostridium, Streptococcus)

  • – Some protozoa (amoeba, trichomonads).

  • Careful application with indirect anticoagulants (potentiation of their actions).
    Do not use disulfiram (psychotic additive effect).


  • Interact with alcohol (disulfiramopodobnyh syndrome).
